Dr. Karlygash Kuralbayeva is a Kazakhstani economist specializing in environmental economics, climate policy, and applied macroeconomics. She holds a DPhil (PhD) in Economics from the University of Oxford and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Economy at King's College London. She is also affiliated with the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment. Her research focuses on environmental taxation, green employment, carbon markets, and climate policy design.
