Olzhas Zhorayev is a Research Fellow at the Central Asian Institute for Development Studies and the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University. He previously served as Deputy Director of the Center for Strategic Research and Analysis at the Executive Office of the President of Kazakhstan, Director of Research at the Center for Strategic Initiatives, and Deputy Director of the Department of Strategy and Analytics at KazMunayGas National Company.
