Dr. Mukashev is an accomplished academic and healthcare professional with an MD from Semey Medical University, a PhD in Health Policy and Management from Tulane University, and a Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan. He is currently an Assistant Professor at SDU University Business School, where he also directs the Center for Health, Policy, and Management. His research focuses on the intersection of health services, climate, equity, and technology. With extensive experience in public and private healthcare in both Kazakhstan and the USA, Dr. Mukashev has published in top healthcare journals and led projects funded by the Asian Development Bank and WHO.
